The Farm Studios – ATMOS Control Room

This control room is particularly special to us on a personal level at MDRN. Since both Ryan and Nygel spent several years working at The Farm Studios under producer GGGarth Richardson, they have both been involved in several adaptations of its evolution since 2002. So, when we were asked to design and build what is surely to be its final transformation, of course the answer was an emphatic “yes!”

This complete acoustic design comes equipped with a calculated array of velocity trapping, pressure trapping, diffraction and diffusion to offer a well-balanced playback in either classic Stereo or ATMOS 7.2.4 where the imaging remains intact, and the low-end thumps in your chest without muddying a mix. 

The addition of the Limbic Media supplied “Aurora” LED system will ensure that there is no possibilty of not finding a colour or sequence that perfectly complements the mood of your project.
