Song Sparrow Hall – Recording Facility

Following the completion of the Creative BC–funded Song Sparrow Hall, MDRN was once again engaged to build a ground-up control room and tracking suite, positioned in a dedicated annex directly off the concert hall itself. The project was executed in collaboration with acoustic designer John H. Brandt.

The result is a facility of rare versatility: a reference-grade studio seamlessly integrated with a 54,000 cu. ft. performance hall.. For engineers, the ability to route directly into such a space offers a unique advantage — capturing performances in an environment of scale and resonance that few studios in the world can claim.

Song Sparrow Hall is not only a remarkably visual build, but also a facility that bridges the gap between concert venue and recording studio — placing it firmly in a league of its own.
