Song Sparrow Hall

With the support from yet another Creative BC grant, MDRN executed this  John H. Brandt Hall design in what was once a local place of worship, transforming it into a formidable concert venue. At 3,200 square feet and 54,000 cubic feet, the hall delivers a rare combination of intimacy and scale — perfectly suited for live performance.

For the Okanagan and Shuswap regions, Song Sparrow Hall fills a long-standing gap in local arts infrastructure. It has quickly become a key stopover for touring acts between Vancouver and Calgary/Edmonton, as well as a mainstage partner for the Roots and Blues Festival. Artists and promoters consistently recognize the venue for its acoustic response — precise, balanced, and immersive.

Song Sparrow Hall stands as proof of what’s possible when vision and investment converge: a venue that not only supports the arts community but elevates it.
