Echoplant Recording Studios
Completed in the fall of 2022, this tracking room upgrade resulted in a complete transformation that left very few traces of the original design intact. Originally designed by Vancouver industry legend John Vrtacic in the 1990s, it operated successfully for many years under the name of Vogville Recording before the space was eventually taken over by writer/producer Ryan Worsley and rebranded as Echoplant Recording Studios. Once again with the assistance of a Creative BC grant, we gutted the tracking room to make space for a more calculated and complete acoustic treatment design. The result is a space in which proper low-end management helped open the room up in a way that offers far more control, definition and overall clarity across the frequency spectrum. And we must say, the overall vibe is now much more conducive to creative inspiration inside the room.
