Offworld Industries – 5.1 FX Editing Suite

Offworld Industries is a game developer known for popular titles such as Sqaud 44, Beyond The Wire, and most recently Starship Troopers.  When we were contacted to design and build them an in-house 5.1 SFX editing suite at their headquarters in New Westminster, the immediate concern was the available space on offer for the room.  While we were handcuffed to certain limitations, a mix of pourus absorption, membrane and diaphragmatic traps resulted in a very even response given its size. Its been fun to hear the sound-design in their games knowing its been created in one of our rooms.
