Acoustic Measurement & Room Analysis in Vancouver

MDRN Acoustic Concepts provides acoustic and system measurement across Vancouver and British Columbia, with remote room analysis available anywhere using REW or SMAART.

Objective Data, Accurate Rooms

While an engineer or artist often relies on their ears for creative decisions, objective measurement provides the blueprint for true accuracy.

What Measurement Reveals

Measurements across both the frequency and time domain expose issues in isolation, speaker placement, listening position, delay, phase alignment and low-frequency response, allowing us to design solutions that bring the space into balance.

Where We Apply It

MDRN applies acoustic measurement across control rooms, tracking rooms, performance spaces and critical listening environments, so your monitoring chain is not just subjectively pleasing, but objectively accurate.

Remote Room Analysis with REW

Remote analysis is surprisingly accessible. With a calibrated USB measurement microphone (approx. $100 USD) and free analysis software such as REW, you can capture room data yourself and send us the files. MDRN will analyze the results and provide targeted recommendations, from acoustic treatment plans to room-shape adjustments where possible.

SMAART Files Welcome

For advanced users who are more invested in their craft, we also accept SMAART measurement files. Detailed instructions for measuring your space are on our Resources page.

Based in Vancouver, MDRN provides on-site measurement locally and remote acoustic analysis for clients across Canada.

Your ears make the decisions. Measurement makes them accurate.
