Solving Real Problems Through Design

The architecture of acoustics is not about superficial appearances. It is about solving real problems through design, where workflow and function matter as much as the sound a space shapes.

Grounded in Studio Experience

Many designers approach acoustics only from theory. The MDRN perspective is grounded in years of experience working inside professional studios with distinguished engineers and producers, and that experience informs every project.

Physics and Construction

Unlike conventional contractors, architects or suppliers offering basic acoustic treatment packages, MDRN understands both the physics of sound and the construction methods required to achieve meaningful results across every trade involved.

Integrated with the Design Team

On larger projects, where acoustics are one part of a broader architectural scope, MDRN collaborates directly with the principal design or architecture team. Our drawings integrate into the primary plans through precise scaled overlays, so acoustic performance is accounted for without disrupting the larger design vision.

Independent Specification

MDRN is not tied to any exclusive distribution deals. The only products we specify are those that meet our design criteria, are backed by verifiable testing data and are proven to be the right choice for the application.

Based in Vancouver, MDRN also provides remote acoustic consulting for projects across Canada.

Sound shapes every space. MDRN designs it with intent.
